The difference between KRONOS 1171 and KRONOS 2071

KRONOS 1171, the untreated purified anatase Titanium Dioxide grade, is the product of choice for personal care producers.  It has a slightly bluish tone and displays all the above-mentioned properties. This product is a great match for almost all personal care applications.

KRONOS 2071 is an untreated rutile Titanium Dioxide grade and has a warm, slightly yellowish tone. It disperses easier and has great tinting strength. For this reason it can be used when an even higher opacity is required in the product application. This can be specifically useful in colour cosmetics.
