PURESIL™ ORG02 by Elkem


PURESIL™ ORG02 is a silicone elastomer gel in a bio-based non-volatile C13-15 alkane. The alkane is derived from fermentation of sustainably sourced sugarcane, which is 100% natural according to ISO 16128. The natural origin index of PURESIL™ ORG02 is 0.8. It is the second generation of Elkem Silicones' sustainability solutions. 

This ingredient offers excellent spreading, slip, lubricity, skin blurring benefits, a luxurious, matte finish and sebum absorption. It provides a silky smooth & powdery skin feel and contributes a soft-focus effect to the skin which masks imperfections. Furthermore, PURESIL™ ORG02 thickens water-in-silicone emulsions and anhydrous systems.
